A ManyChat alternative for people who only need Instagram
ManyChat is a good product and a big one. It covers Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS and email, and it prices around how many contacts you have collected. If you use one channel and one automation, you are paying for a lot of building you will never open. This is the smaller thing: comment to DM on Instagram, done properly, priced by what you send.
Short answer
autoreplyig is an Instagram-only alternative to ManyChat. It does comment to DM, keyword auto replies, tracked link buttons, lead forms, Google Sheets and webhooks. It charges credits per message sent rather than a monthly tier based on contact count.
Side by side
| autoreplyig | ManyChat | |
|---|---|---|
| Focus | Instagram only | Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS, email |
| What you pay for | Credits, one per message sent | Monthly tier that scales with contacts |
| Cost when a reel goes viral | Rises with sends, then stops when credits run out | Rises with the contacts that wave added |
| Comment to DM | Yes, with public reply and click tracking | Yes, a core feature |
| Flow builder | A focused builder for one automation at a time | Full visual flow builder with branching |
| Lead capture form | Built in, opens from the DM button | Via flow steps or an external form tool |
| Google Sheets | Built in, per file access, header matched rows | Via integration or Zapier |
| Outbound webhook | Built in, HMAC signed | Available on paid plans |
| Setup time for the first automation | Minutes, one screen | Longer, more surface to learn |

The bill behaves differently
Contact based pricing means the audience you built last month sets the price of this month. One reel that lands puts thousands of people in your contact list, and they stay there, counted, whether or not they ever hear from you again.
Credits price the action instead. One message sent, one credit. Nothing is billed for people sitting in a list, and when the balance hits zero, sending pauses. That is a worse business model for us and a more honest one for you.
Stay with ManyChat if
- You run Instagram, WhatsApp and SMS from one place and want them in a single flow.
- You need deep branching logic, tags and audience segmentation across channels.
- Your team already lives in their ecosystem and the templates and agencies around it matter to you.
Try us if
- Instagram is where your audience is, and the other channels are noise you are paying for.
- You want the cost tied to messages sent, not to how many people have ever replied to you.
- You want the lead to land in a spreadsheet or your own API without a third tool in the middle.
- You want to set up the first automation today, not learn a flow builder this week.
Questions people ask first
Is this a full ManyChat replacement?
For Instagram comment to DM, keyword replies, link tracking and lead capture, yes. If your flows span WhatsApp and SMS, or you rely on multi step branching logic across channels, ManyChat does more than we do and we would rather say so than have you find out after migrating.
How is the pricing different?
Contact based pricing charges you for the size of the audience you have accumulated, so a single viral reel raises your bill every month afterwards. Credits charge for the message you actually sent. When they run out, sending pauses rather than upgrading you.
Can I run both while I switch?
Yes. Point us at one post with one keyword and leave your existing setup on the others. Compare the click numbers for a week, then move the rest across if ours holds up.
Is it built on the official Instagram API?
Yes, the same official Graph API and OAuth that ManyChat uses. Your password never touches us, and disconnecting revokes access and deletes the stored tokens.
What about my existing flows?
There is no importer, and a flow built in another tool would not map cleanly anyway. In practice people rebuild their two or three best performing automations in an afternoon and leave the rest behind, which is usually an improvement.

Missing the one thing that would let you switch?
If there is a single feature keeping you on your current tool, name it. We would rather build the thing that unblocks you than guess at a roadmap.
